Kid Panzer – Up and Coming Youngsters

Kid Panzer is a raunchy, rocking alternative band based out of Hot Springs that really kicks some serious “A” for their age. Formed in 2009 from the ashes of the now defunct Ivory White members: Keith “Aaron” West and Derrick “Cowman” Perrine from Memphis and Multi-talented Zachary “Pretty Boy” Sheets from Hot Springs. These youngsters really rock with a Dead Milkmen/ Jane’s Addiction kind of pseudo alternative grunge that has emotion, spunk and much dazzle. Currently working on their full length debut compact disc, these post-teen 22 year old doers of mayhem are aiming at super stardom, and are setting up to be a major player in music world, and if they keep their pace and angst, they just might be.
As most musicians, playing and performing is their first love and writing their music is the most important thing in the world to them. Backed by Angela Chiarelli Sheets, the band rehearses nearby in the living room and the neighbors aren’t that spiteful of their raucous rock and roll. The group has been fine tuning and perfecting their tracks on a near daily basis, and have come a very long way in the grand scheme of things.
This reporters advice as a former angst filled youth is to just keep doing it boys, one day you’ll either be in a full time job or playing somewhere on a big stage or maybe both. Don’t forget to always have a backup plan and use your condoms. Because fatherhood at this time in your life will all but ruin all your hopes and dreams, not to mention all the S.T.D.’s out there.
The band has performed at Vino’s and Maxine’s to name a few venues on their list, including their own Houseapalooza, and are ever looking for another stage to conquer with the energetic blitzkrieg assault of Kid Panzer.
