Four On the Floor – Smokin’ Hot!

From the capitol city of Little Rock Arkansas, Four on the Floor or FOTF, is a slap yo mama, and plug your ears, kind of hard rockin' quartet. These guys will grab your attention and hold it from "Daddy-O” Dugan’s first three clicks of the sticks! Each musician has their own unique musical gifts, but put together they are completely awesome. After each member spent 20 years in and out of local bands in the Little Rock metro area they finally found their groove when front man EC Haynes joined the group in 2007.
This Creek Indian's powerful vocals will fill your head with visions you never thought possible, and is a very talented wordsmith in his own right, Creating passages of lyrical genius and memorable hook lines in their songs. Charlie Page's lead guitar riffs will leave you with your mouth hanging open, and when he uses his bow on Led Zeppelin covers, you would swear you were listening to Jimmy Page, not Charlie. Al Martin on bass is the man with the plan, and lays down a solid groove with finesse and style. And once he starts banging his head everyone knows it’s on baby! Mike Dugan’s drumming is powerful and reminiscent of the greats of yesteryear, as he keeps a smooth and flowing pocket which drives this energetic group.
Once they finally melded, there was no stopping them. They immediately began playing to sold-out venues and have attracted a local following that now numbers in the thousands. One of the best features of this high energy group is their "down-home" appeal and true love and appreciation for their fans. They are untouchable in what they do on stage, but are still just "good ole boys" with hearts the size of Texas from Arkansas.
In 2008, FOTF competed and won Isle of Capri Casino regional Battle of the Bands and took home 1st place and $10,000! They have opened for many national acts, such as Dizzy Reed (G&R), Ted Nugent, Jayckl, Hinder and Heart to name a few, and have performed in many large festivals.
With the release of their self titled and produced compact disc, in the fall of 2008, all the right things and plenty of good karma have followed them. The bands most recent attribute to national attention happened this year when they were chosen from 10 very impressive area bands to star as the lead group in a locally produced movie, “Step Away from the Stone”, which will be released in the fall of this year.
Four on the Floor is what needs to happen to rock and roll in this decade of music uncertainty. They are lined up at the starting gate, and taking the lead in their genre.
